Express Entry and Canadian Experience Class

With Express Entry (EE) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) you can become a permanent resident of Canada. “This video takes you through the steps of completing an EE profile.”

Express Entry with the Canadian Experience Class:

To qualify with EE Canadian Experience class, you must have at least one year of full time work experience.  Or the equivalent of part time work experience inside Canada. Moreover, the work experience must be paid (volunteer work does not count).  Furthermore, work experience gained while a student on study permit or on co-op work permit does not count. The minimum level of English required to qualify under the Canadian Experience Class is CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs and CLB 5 for NOC B jobs. Your IELTS or CELPIP score is valid for 2 years only.

Express Entry with the Federal Skilled Worker Class:

The government still managed to meet its immigration targets by encouraging people here on work visas or other temporary programs to apply to become permanent residents.”
